About our Childcare
My goal at Cozy Corner is to provide children a fun safe space to learn and have fun. I want the children to leave daycare with the skills they need to be sucessful in kindergarten and in all the school years to come. During your child's time at daycare I will focus on developing their imaginary, sensory, social, and emotional skills.
As an in home daycare, I will do my best to teach your child about the world and inspire a passion for learning. Some of our fun topics we explore are the Arctic, Farms, Insects, Seasons, and Dinosaurs.

Hello, my name is Jean. I have been an at-home childcare provider since July of 1996 and love being with and caring for children. I have been married to my husband Chuck for 31 years and we have four daughters. Currently, I belong to 3 child care organizations: Dakota County Family Child Care Association, the Minnesota Association of Child Care Professionals, and the Adults and Children's Alliance.
During my career, I've been awarded Outstanding Provider of the year in 2017 and am very active in the Childcare community. I've attended Early Education Conferences as well as local trainings provided through the Dakota County Family Childcare Association. I am CPR and First Aid Certified for all ages, current on all SIDS/SUIDS, and Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive Head Trauma trainings. Knowledge is power. The more I learn through my trainings the more I can teach the children in my program.
As a provider, my priority has always been to provide a fun, loving environment for the children in my care. We hug. We laugh. We learn.
